I agree. I'm no meteorologist, but it looks more westerly over the last few frames. Of course, I want it to head due west, so I may be 'seeing things.'

no that dry area seems to look like the eye, but its surronding the center. If you look at radar loops for last several hrs, you could see dry air rotating, but now its got a complete ring or eye wall around it meaning intensyfication, as noted with the 951 mb pressure

not sure about current movement, but it has also definitely creeped north a bit during the day today, along with the westardly movement in general.
That slight northward movement is really going to make a difference in the effects Broward county feels IMO. Not that we're out of the woods by any means, but for a while it looked like we were going to get the entire southern eyewall raked across us.
