Alive In Melbourne

#1 Postby chris_fit » Sun Sep 05, 2004 7:26 pm

Hey all,

I'm fine.

My roof starting leakin a little. Winds were pretty bad here.. around 100 i would esitamte.

Flooding isnt that bad but there are roads underwater.

I have not seen a traffic light working, if one remained at the intersection.

I made a video last night as soon as i get power i will encode it and post it somewhere.

Damage to homes doesnt look too bad right now but i havent been driving around.

I hope Ivan doesnt come.

I must say it was interesting expierience for me, I am glad I stayed.

Glad you are ok with only a bit of roof leakage. It must have been a wild ride.

I couldn't believe how long the bands are lasting there, after taking an eyewall hit. Hope everyone stays safe.
