Ivan, GOM, and Time

I am beginning to think this will be a GOM storm and particularly a northern GOM storm(not texas of FL West coast). My question to the pros is, is there anything thing to slow it down. I know given the tack record for Franny that stalls are hard to forecast, but should folks here on the gulf coast from Lousiana to the Panhandle expect it to be exiting cuba Saturday morning and possibaly threaten the coast Monday morning? I know this is a long way off, but I was just curious on opinions.

Just watch the forward speed if it stays at 13>20mph the ridge is holding strong and the W to WNW progess should follow.GFS going alittle N again.I would like to see the LBAR anyone got it .LBAR was the closes forcast to Frances all the way to the end.

A good place to find the LBAR is at hurricane alley. But you have to pay for them now.

At this point, I think that all on the Gulf Coast should watch this system closely. As John Gumm reported on Channel 4 earlier today--everyone from Texas to North Carolina needs to monitor this system very closely.
