how often are all forcast models updated

Depends on the model. The GFS (aka MRF, AVN) runs every 6 hours, with results starting to trickle in about 3 1/2 hours after the run starts. A bunch of the tropics models are based on the GFS and also come out at 6 hour intervals but substantially later than the GFS runs they're based on, of course.

The UKMET and the NOGAPS run every 12 hours.

Offhand, I'm not remembering the Euro - I think that's every 12 hours too.
