2004 Two New Records - Both Opposite To Eath Other

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Mon Sep 06, 2004 1:44 pm

As everyone remembers Hurricane Alex became the strongest hurricane to form in such a high latitute, now Hurricane Iván has the record to be the strongest hurricane in the Atlantic to form in such a low latitude. Interesting to have both records in one year. The Atlantic Ocean, always giving us new records every year!

 :) :D

I think we're working on it as we speak.I cannot remember if it happened but we were real close in August for storms forming in such a short time frame.
