This shows how Charley in Ivan is alot the same....
Charley had 25 miles of hurricane force winds with 85 miles of tropical storm forces winds...
Ivan has 25 miles of hurricane force winds with 105 miles of tropical storm force winds.
Charley had a eye around 5-6 nmi wide...
Ivan has a eye of 7 nmi wide upwards of 10 nmi.
The Differents is Ivan had 20 miles more of tropical storm forces winds. End result is Tempa would of got stronger winds with Ivan???
Also Check out Frances with the 85 mile wide hurricane force winds. That is over three times the size...While the tropical storm force winds went out from 180 to 210 miles.

Just in case you where wondering Floyd. when it was a broader line cat5. It had Tropical storm force winds out to 230 miles with hurricane force winds 140 miles out... That is almost twice the hurricane force winds as Frances. But in the end Floyd weaken...
