A LARGE TROPICAL WAVE...ACCOMPANIED BY A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE
AREA...IS CENTERED MIDWAY BETWEEN AFRICA AND THE LESSER ANTILLES.
THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR SLOW DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT
DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

Is there a trough in the central Atlantic that is going to turn this thing which is why everyone says fish?

The wave is getting better today and is moving westward likely to move just north of the islands and puerto rico area .

I think this has good chance becoming a tropical storm soon .

I ask, how are the conditions around that wave, I mean, trough, ridge, shear?

OK Hurrilurker...I'm a newbie. So what's a fish? (other than the kind that have scales and swim)

Do you mean "fish" as in "fish-tail" turn ???

I hate being the only one who has no clue :(
