Ivan #5...shift to the right: Jamaica/Cuba

Sorry...little late but anyhow.

Intensity is uncertain because I don't know for certain if Jamaica will be a factor. Track is swaying with the models right now, which seem to have a decent general hold on this.

I thought the NHC model shifted to the left at 11:00 AM :)

I agree that in the long term the general concensus and track wil shift to the right more, bringing this away from the GOM. Lets see what the 12z euro says...

They shifted to the left from their previous forecast. I shifted right from my forecast from last night--which was too far to the left. So in fact, my forecast is probably close to the NHC track.

The track at 11am ha sshifted to the left. What are you looking at that makes you think it shifted to the right?
These track fluctuations will continue until the models start to get a better handle on Ivan.

He's talking aout his forecast not the NHC forecast, tdess02.
