11 AM EDT THU SEP 09 2004

..DEPRESSION POORLY ORGANIZED...

AT 11 AM EDT...1500Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION TEN WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 36.6 NORTH... LONGITUDE 33.3 WEST OR ABOUT 360 MILES... 580 KM... WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE AZORES.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST-NORTHEAST NEAR 6 MPH .. 9 KM/HR. A TURN TO THE EAST WITH A SLOWING OF THE FORWARD SPEED IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH... 55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. THE DEPRESSION HAS LOST MOST OF ITS THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY THIS MORNING AND COULD DISSIPATE LATER TODAY.

ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1013 MB...29.91 INCHES.

REPEATING THE 11 AM EDT POSITION...36.6 N... 33.3 W. MOVEMENT TOWARD...EAST-NORTHEAST NEAR 6 MPH. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS... 35 MPH. MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1013 MB.

THE NEXT ADVISORY WILL BE ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL
HURRICANE CENTER AT 5 PM EDT.
