The Untold FL Financial Toll....

How will anyone compute the storm-related financial loss in WORK PRODUCTIVITY?

They cannot...and I can tell you all of us in this office talk more about Ivan (and the previous storms) than work related issues.

My neighbor and I chatted last night and he said everytime he goes by an employee's desk, they are logged into TWC, NHC site, this board, anything weather-related! It is driving him crazy..

And the clients I speak with are all distracted due to power outages, absenteeism, you name it...

we are planning on being out on Monday, unless something changes with Ivans track.

I know I haven't worked since 8/26. Storm damage and no phone system will keep me out of work another 4 days and even more if Ivan swings by the space coast again. With all the extra expenses, it's not a good time for no paychecks...

Not just work.. Schools too.. I know they make up the days..

But the extra time to figure out which days here, which days there probably gets annoying too as well as time consuming
