Ok Im not....... but with every new model run I feel like Im going to have a front row seat to a beautiful meteorologic event.....and from the looks of the cone I should be able to breath somewhat of a sigh of relif by 11am.
Mind you its a much needed sigh of relief after Frances last week. I for one was not -removed- the beast of a storm to come to me and I thank my lucky stars and at the same time feel horrible that one of you will have to deal with this.
Not many people who hope this storm comes their way realize that once all the excitment of preparing, and around the clock news coverage, and the focus of the country on your area is gone......and after the media trucks leave 2 weeks later youre left with a shell of a house and living in a tent with 3oo of your neighbors.. and your town just becomes a name that we all had problems pronouncing..
Although I and breathing somewhat of a sigh of relief I urge all of you in the cone to remain vigilant and for god sakes be prepared for the worst... and hope for the best... We are 3-4 days from landfall and that leaves a lot of time to start praying (or do whatever it is you do) that this storm takes a hard left and dies in the gulf.
Goodluck all and Be Safe
