MY REASON IS EVERYTHING IN THE GULF IS MOVING WEST.....I DONT SEE ANYTHING THAT WILL PICK THIS STORM UP AND THERE IS HIGH PRESSURE BULIDING NORTH OF IVAN.

The tops of thunderstorms in the northern Gulf are moving to the east - indicative of westerly winds at middle/upper levels.

It probably wouldn't be any worse than any other forecasts i've seen.
