Just how much bigger is Ivan going to get?

Hurricane force winds extend outwards up to 90 miles and storm force winds out to 200 miles! :eek:

It was nowhere near that size when it (mostly) bypassed here.

I'm sure the people in western cuba and even the Yucatan are wondering much the same. Ivan is certainly a monster with his own mind. Just hoping once he gets into the Gulf, the dry air does take the wind out of him before getting to whereever landfall ends up being. How did you fare in Barbados Abajan?

The sky is the limit - pardon the pun.

All of the things seem to be in place for him to
be large and devastating.

This goes back to the "hurricane is not a spot" - there will be a large area of destruction. :(
