Battle of the Front remnants and Ivan

Do you think that Ivan might be able to wrap the moisture and exisiting convection from the old Frontal Boundary over the SE US into his circulation? Or will the SW to NE flow "steal" some of Ivan's outer bands?

Water Vapor imagery and radar show the two areas about to come together...but then again, reading satellite images can be misleading...perhaps the convection areas are in two different levcels?

I would surmise that Ivan could make use of this already very moist air, though I have no previous experience making this obsevation.
Thoughts?
