The center has past it to the west already as noted by the rising pressure

By the way that ob is over 300 miles from the center.

Er, that's over 300 kilometers from the center. Still majorly impressive. A whole lot of ignorant people are going to die in this hurricane. I'd love to anguish about that, but I have a life to continue living.

nope, that's 300 miles (287 nautical miles equals roughly 330 statute miles).

See, look at the "nm" over the distance from center.

Although technically you're right, it is also over 300 km from the center as well.

Mobilebay is right. Buoy is about 125 miles east of center.
Eye:25.6N 87.4W
Buoy:26.01N 85.91W
