Karl in the Caribbean?

#1 Postby indwind » Fri Sep 17, 2004 2:10 pm

Ridge building out over Karl drives him into the Caribbean.

Has anyone else seen this scenario?

Every single model out there that I've seen calls for a trough/ridge weakness to develop over the next couple days, harmlessly deflecting Karl out to sea. He's 100%, Atlantic-born and bred fish, just like Danielle! :)

i mentioned this earlier, many models had Frances turning north over the mid-atlantic and she wasn't exactly like ivan (being way down south) and she still never turned north. Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't Karl about as far north as Frances was. i'm with jkrangers - the models have been awful predicting the strength of the atlantic ridge this year. All that being said . . . here fishy fishy fishy

I'll believe the turn north when I see it. That ridge above Karl looks like it is building foward fast.
