That is funny!! It is as good as the "welcome to Florida" picture postcard that is floating around the internet. :)

Good grief, it's a joke. I think everyone needs one after weeks of nonstop tracking.

I was outside smoking a ciggy and I was rethinking my post. I guess I am having a hard time balancing the humor of the cartoon and the humanity of the situation. I realize your intent wasn't to upset anyone and to lighten the mood. I hope you accept my apology.

Not so comical, but I wish I had a cartoon!

Reality during my drive through the town today:

25% of Cape Canaveral residents were taking down storm shutters, and another 25% were putting up "For Sale" sign. :D

I am exaggerating a little, but there are 5 "For Sale" signs within my 3 block neighborhood that were not there on Wednesday!

Well I will tell you without a sense of humor right now we would go crazy I know my neighbors across the street are to the point they are moving away they said they can't take it anymore. My husband is a big joker as a matter of fact everytime a new storm pops up he says "Well its time to stick your head between your legs and kiss your A$$ goddbye!!!"

It's OK. I'm still a bit edgy too from Ivan. :)

Maybe a few more hurricanes will send some of these snowbirds back north & help relieve this congestion. This state is getting way to over populated any way.

That's a doctored cartoon. The original cartoon had IVAN scribbled across the cane.
