Goofy Marketing idea for weather weenies
All this talk about which storms were stronger than who and who did what...Somebody ought to start makind hurricane trading cards. Perhaps the pic on the front could be an ominous satellite pic or a picture of the damage everybody remembers from that storm(ie. Richelou Apts in Pass Christian for Camille). Then on the back you could have all the storms stats...wouldnt that be fun

Sure! plus there would be a bonus 55 piece puzzle that when assembled would be a C130 recon plane!
And imagine a Miles Lawerence Rookie card! I can see it now...
"I'll trade you the Miles Lawerence Rookie Card for 2 Avila's and a Jack Beven"
Plus...we could include really really hard to chew gum...and verification stats for each forecaster on the back of the card.

they actually did that for Hurricane Andrew. There were cards made up for damage relief efforts.. The money they would generate would go into the relief funds.. Bad thing was, no one had any money afterwards in the area and they didnt go over well... I have a deck of those cards that was given to me as a gift this year... Dont know how they got 'em or where... Cool to have a awesome birthday gift for a weather nerd... lol
