The high

#1 Postby LaBreeze » Tue Sep 21, 2004 2:35 pm

Question? Is the high pressure currently steering the moisture coming out of Florida expected to keep the moisture on a direct westward track or is the high expected to weaken some or move east? If it goes directly west, what part of Texas should receive the majority of it? Just wondering what everyone thinks about this and if I should keep the umbrella handy (if I can find it - haven't used it in a long while!) :?:

Current progs are for this to move Westward and end up on the TX coast sometime around Thursday or Friday in whatever incarnation it is at that time. There is a possiblity that SW LA could get some of the rains from this, but not necessarily a probability. What's an umbrella?

Right back at LaBreeze.... jj

Anyway, we could use the rain. It look to have been over water all day and shows no sign of reorganization.....yet.

What are those models?? See Ivan Jr. wants to finish the job. He didn't get N.O. the first time around so now he wants to flood us out.

vbhoutex, while there's not much I miss about TX summers (from 1974 until 2002-- split between Dallas and Austin), there is one thing I do miss...

the "end of summer drought happy rain dance" that Texans spontaneously break into the moment they get that first cool deluge breaking the summer heat. If you get that with the post-Ivan weather system, I hope you enjoy the dance!! Leave that umbrella inside and get soaked!

Send us some pics!
