Lots of variables to work with here; model guidance seems to want to carry this farther north, which will be determined in the short term it appears. I went modest with intensity initially to deal with strong shear, then allowed intensification.
As for Ivan, rather than opening with TS 14/Ivan, I'll open with TS Omega/Ivan, picking a name far down the greek alphabet so I don't have to worry about interference should the season extend that far, and I will address the system as Omega in the forecast. Otherwise, I'll refer to it as Ivan.
