Watches/Warnings

#1 Postby fci » Wed Sep 22, 2004 11:30 pm

OK, if the newest models are correct and Jeanne is headed our way; SE Fla; when would we get the HUrricane Watch; this time tomorrow?
I know the 36 hour for watch and 24 hour for warning but what speed is Jeanne supposed to speed up to where Hurricane Watch is warranted and then when would a Warning be expected?

I know that this is based on a lot of speculation but I am curious.
Besides, once the Watch is up gas becomes hard to get etc.....
