It has also, for the 3rd run in a row, looped Ivan around the entire Gulf, placing it near the central GOM at the end of the forecast period. It would make some sense as the storm travels around the upper low there currently.

Am I also reading this right that it wants to intensify Karl more before it is swept up to the cold water??? Jeanne does not seem to intensify much more. Is this a good model to look at intensity?
