The center is exposed well west of the convection and that indicates shear is tearing it apart as the T numbers are going down and the sattelite presentation is worse every hour so soon we will say goodbye to ANA that made history.

There could have easily been a tropical storm in the month of April before satellites were invited. In fact, the polar orbiting satellite only took "shots of the Atlantic" every 6 to 12 hours, thus it is hard to say if there was ever truly another tropical system in the Atlantic Basin in the month of April.

But for all intent and purposes Tropical Storm Ana is the first tropical storm to form in the month of April in recorded history.

Confirming that ana is more and more loosing it's tropical caracteristics this discussion at 5 AM says it all.

The RIP of ana will happen in 48 hours or less but it was fun to watch history play itself.
