I gotta go with Derek on this one. That ridge is going no where fast. I wonder if we will see an increase of forward speed at 5:00.

Derek - I asked you this in another thread, but it's appropriate here....when you're saying South FL, are you saying more Broward, Palm Beach, or Miami??? It makes a difference, especially to me :)

Thanks for your tireless efforts!!

I see that Ms. Profile (Stephanie Abrams) has arrived on Palm Beaches. Could anyone ask for a more attractive, er accurate confirmation??

broward and palm are at greatest risk, though that southern eye wall could near N Dade if it goes due west

Approx 500 miles due West, that is a long road to go due West!
It's almost due East of WPB rate now! It would be unusual at this latitude in late Sept.

Is there any chance she could wobble south of west like Andrew?

I think she's eventually going to move NW or WNW... those 500 miles are a long way to keep up a due west motion..

It was forecasted to do that yesterday. Should see it do that soon maybe with the strong ridge,

I was just on Palm Beach, and I talked to her, and I did. I got a cute smile and a laugh. She gets it a lot.
