Our local CBS met just announced - hurricane warning is up for the whole east coast of FL from FL City northward...

35miles due west inland is not a lot.
OK so it is inland.
Because Brevard "hogs" the coastline, that is the only reason Orange and Osceola are considered "inland" :-)
Heck, I think the only "inland" counties there are in Florida might be Marion to Leon, along I-75/10 and slightly east of the intersection.

If you even wanna be technical.. When I "evacuate" to St Cloud tomorrow.. I might be putting myself more in harms' way because it's closer to the coast
