Martin County Reports

#1 Postby BPJR051 » Sat Sep 25, 2004 9:11 am

I will be assigned to the Martin County EOC during the storm and will be able to give you the conditions and updates about what is going on in Stuart. We are still in the recovery phase from Frances. Martin County is where Frances made landfall and the track of Jeanne looks like we could see landfall on our coast again.

We will be abandoning the police department because we sustained bad roof damage and have not been able to get the roof repaired. Our officers will be situated at three different locations throughout the city so service will not be interrupted.

Good luck to all of you in Jeanne's path. We'll do the best we can to take care of you before, during, and after the storm.

Give Nance my best. I will be working in the Hillsborough Co. EOC (Damage Assessment) when we go to full activation this evening. Will keep in touch also.
