Stuart damage reported by PD

#1 Postby BPJR051 » Sat Sep 25, 2004 11:11 pm

Our officers are out in the eye now doing initial damage assessment. We have also made numerous rescues from apartments and houses with roof collapses. No injuries in those cases. Holiday Mobil Home Park appears in pretty good shape. Many businesses with roof collapses. Flooding throughout the county. Officers report "Damage much worse then with Frances". I'll keep you posted.

Stay safe! Not surprised to see damage is more severe---truly a terrible thing.

Please post when you can, have a cousin that lives in Stuart in Mobil Home Park, not sure of the name though. She and her children have take cover at her Mom's house in Jupiter. Any information appreciated. Stay safe!
