Check out this radar loop. That is training heavy rain over the same areas, and some places there have picked up well over 5 inches of rain.

The center of Jeanne is now just north of due west of CHS and the huge squall line, although the individual storms are RACING NNE to N at 45 KTS-48 KTS(52-56 MPH), the line itself isn't moving (NET movement - zilch) ...
We didn't have the steady, heavy rains that occurred in SW GA up to ATL today, but the convective bands have produced incredible rainfall RATES of 2"-3" PER HOUR ... so far in my location, these heavy cells and bands didn't last no more than 20 minutes at a time, yet still since last night (26 HOUR Storm Total of over 2" ... still haven't emptied the gauge due to the strong winds that MIGHT blow the gauge over ...
