Jeanne's death toll in Haiti is now 2400

#1 Postby HurricaneBill » Mon Sep 27, 2004 11:05 pm

750 unreported deaths were confirmed as information from areas cut off by the floods has started coming in. 800 are still missing.

The areas hit hard by the floods are in chaos.

One Haitian said that this is simply part of the worst tragedy that plagues Haiti: Once one crisis ends, another comes along.

Its very sad...Back in May on the 24th. There was a "tropical system" unnamed call it what you went!!! But it killed 3,300 people in Hati. It had a clear low level cirulation...I could name many tropical sysems that did not look anything like this...For one!

1# Grace!!

The Quickscats shown a close area of low pressure with winds of 40 knots...It also had deep covnection on its northeastern side...

It is unbelieveble what Hati go's through it is darn right sicking! :(
