Did anyone miss me..? lol :)

I have returned. Mom's place sustained only minor damage.. Some of the plywood actually got blown off some of the windows!

I also hear the top gust was only around 81 mph,. I don't buy that and neither do most of my neighbors. There are a few trees down in my area.. But damage is not bad..

I only lost power at Mom's place for 13 hours.. and where I'm staying only lost it for about 6...

:) I'm ok though..

Welcome back John, I was wondering where you had gone to. Glad to hear it wasn't too bad for you or your mom. Jupiter was hit pretty hard by both of them. Jeanne was far worse.

I agree about how bad Jeanne was.. If Charley hadn't caused so much damage.. I would say she was worse than Charley here

Yes Cape.. 3rd direct hit.. Charley is the only 1 where the "eye" came over though.. Frances and Jeanne we got her eye wall... But Charley was the only 1 where we actually got the "calm" the eye can bring..
