4:00 PM EDT Storm2k Atlantic Tropical Update,Oct 1

#1 Postby cycloneye » Fri Oct 01, 2004 2:55 pm

Now it is hurricane Lisa the 8th hurricane of the 2004 season after many atempts to do so in her long life. But it will be a short living hurricane as it is over cooler waters and it will become extratropical as it moves more north and northeast.

Elsewhere in the atlantic:

The caribbean sea system which consists of an upper low with a surface trough is producing plenty of clouds and showers. However upper conditions are not favorable at this time but they may turn more favorable in the next couple of days as the area moves into the NE caribbean.

Tropical storm formation is not expected thru saturday.
