Hmm... This is interesting..........

Happened over to Accu-weather to see what they're thoughts were on the BOC situation and they place the center of the low alot further east.........

"The broad area of low pressure remains over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico; the center of this large circulation is in the vicinity of 21 north, 93 west, as indicated by the satellite."



If this low is relocating to the east under the deep convection we currently are seeing it could help intensify it more rapidly due to the deep convection and the land interaction separation this location would give it.

Still do not see that one after looking at the sat pics available to me. The one at 21N, 96W is quite obvious just off the coast of Mexico.

Bastardi had it around 21.0/96.0 on his morning post which seems a little more accurate.
