Tropical Cyclone Gerard (MFR-12/14S) (04/1800Z)
Position: 28.6S 58.6E (570 mi SSE of Port Louis, Mauritius)
Movement: SSE at 23 mph
Winds: 80 mph
Pressure: 973 mb / 28.73"
Dvorak Est: T3.5/3.5
Gerard has accelerated has it’s merging with a trough. As this occurs, Gerard is becoming extratropical. However, before it transitions into a baroclinic system, expect further deepening with the rapid forward speed of the cyclone. Amsterdam and Saint Paul Islands in the South Indian will have to monitor the progress of this system.
Severe Tropical Cyclone Meena (FMS-07/15P) (04/1800Z)
Position: 14.3S 165.0W (385 mi ESE of Pago Pago, American Samoa)
Movement: ESE at 9 mph
Winds: 90 mph
Pressure: 965 mb / 28.50"
Dvorak Est: T4.0/4.0
Meena is continuing to deepen and now has a CDO and decent banding. Great outflow exists and will continue to help deepen the system. With little change in the synoptic pattern, exist Meena to continue eastbound with further strengthening toward 120 mph. Those in the Cook Islands and French Polynesia will have to monitor the progress of this system.
Tropical Depression Noname (MFR-13R/91S) (04/1800Z)
Position: 16.2S 57.0E (295 mi N of Port Louis, Mauritius)
Movement: **
Winds: 25 mph
Pressure: 1003 mb / 29.61"
Dvorak Est: Too weak
13R is a brand new system the is developing north of Mauritius. Expect slow development over the next few days.

Mike the T numbers for Meena increased to 4.0 but I think that at least they should be at 4.5 or 5.0.

Luis... where did you find this data? http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/positions.html had Meena at 3.5, but since I agree that it should be higher... I'll go ahead and amend the above update to reflect it.
