Links for Tropical Wx?

#1 Postby wx247 » Sat May 17, 2003 12:22 pm

I know that a lot of you have tropical wx. sites and/or know of several so I was wondering where I could go to get a lot of tropical info. in one site? I plan on using ya'll's sites too, but maybe one that has sat. pics and models nicely organized for a tropical "newbie" like me.

Thanks!

We tried to organize all the tropical information to make it easy for everyone. Each tropical section has the information organized just as you mentioned. If we can make it easier to use just give us some feedback on how we could make it easier :-)

Oh Marshall, I was talking about the poster's individual sites... not this one. It is my one-stop weather experience. I didn't realize there was a tropical wx. section in Weather Central beyond the scrolling advisory thingy. I am a little slow.

One site that has some different and some of the most up to date views of the tropics is Lou's tropical page. Some real good close ups of certain regions. Some of his pix are 1/2 hour ahead of NHC. Closeups of the SW Caribbean/east of the Bahamas/eastern Caribbean, etc.
