When and where Bill will form?

#1 Postby cycloneye » Sat May 17, 2003 6:38 pm

Ok let's do this not a scientific sample to see when and here you may post around a time of a month or a specific date and then where the members think Bill will form as this is to have some fun and see who get's it the most closer possible.

My guess is Bill will form on june 26 in the western caribbean south of Cuba.

Didn't forget to, just didn't.... Middle of June.

Sorry -- as you may know I am not one for guessing these sort of things.

Since Ana threw us all a curve I will stick with my original which was June 19 I believe in the GOM or BOC just off the Yucatan.

Hey Lindaloo... I don't necessarily want that. I'm going to Daytona Beach June 15.

I say the second week of June in the Caribbean just west of the windward islands.

I forgot what I said last time  but western or southwest Caribbean seems to have the lower pressure right now. BTW, have you seen the convection in the SW Carib this morning at 80W/12N? Pretty good for this time of year. But this can be a place where early storms form, e.g., Allison '95. So that's my bet.

I'll say the southwest Caribbean is full of convection, although there is no circulation... the flare up itself is impressive.

Hey you didn't know. Also, my mom will be in the Bahamas that week. But that's alright if it does happen. You can't control the weather.
