#1 Postby iceangel » Mon Mar 21, 2005 5:46 pm

He foresees 11 named storms, six of them hurricanes. For the Gulf Coast, ranging from Texas to the Panhandle, he predicts a 39 percent chance of a Category 3 storm or higher making landfall in the region. The average for the Gulf Coast in the past century has been 30 percent.

That 11/6/3 was the december outlook. Now at April 1 he will put out his update but as you said he will say a few things at the conference on friday.

I say he will increase by one the number of named storms in the april update.
