SST's in the GOM

#1 Postby Guest » Tue May 20, 2003 8:14 am

Curious are the SST's rising in the GOM yet? Or are they staying consistent?

I know we are suppose to have a cold front push through Houston and all the way to the GOM - wonder how it will affect the water's and if there is any chance anything might develop in the gulf along the frontal boundary.

Looks like they are getting pretty warm just about everywhere...

The sea surface temperatures over the Gulf of Mexico have been above normal the last month or two. There have even been some 78 to 82 degree readings in the east-central Gulf.

Great resources on Storm2K, I am sure they will be more added as time goes by. :)
