Hmmm.. I was thinking el nino before the year is out.. looks like that is not going to be the case and the odds go down as the year progresses...Bummer..it is looking very active..The steering patterns will be the next issue coming into focus with only a month before the official start to the season.. Yep Paul.As you haved seen in this forum many threads about Rain in May for Florida,Bermuda High,How will the winds will blow thru Florida in May etc will be the dominant theme thru the next 4 weeks.

This dry May subject is really gaetting lots of attention down here this season..if it does turn out to be a dry May there will be much concern & anxiety this hurricane season.Even more so than usual.
