No Dry May this Year

Looks like May will be wetter than last years. 10 day forecast shows isolated T-storms every day and slighly below normal temps. Is this the start of the rainy season? Not that this really matters, because dry May's do not indicate well whether we will get tropical activity this year or not(only happened in 50-60% of the cases).
