Gert was out east of the Leeward Islands when Floyd was hitting the East Coast... I remember it well. Gert became a fish and didn't bother anyone(fortunately).

what about Newfoundland? GERT hit the island, so you cannot call GERT a fish entirely. the TPC said that GERT merged with an ET Low, could that LOW have been FLOYD?
