am I understanding correctly
Is 2005 starting to set in like 2004 with the sst's and the burmuda high? Could it be a bad season for South Florida again ??? I mean in all reality it just seems so unrealistic after so many years of no activity to speak of, (in West Palm anyway) that we may see it again. It is sort of sureal.

No. So far, the setup is quite different from last year--but it is very early.

wonder, i understand the feeling.....sort of shocky, displaced. i clearly remeber the feeling. do you recall the reaction of the veterans of south dade when, in 1993, the nhc was forecasting emily to landfall south fla? ...terror, sheer terror. it was instant evacuation. i'm sure that the veterans of the melee of 2004 wont hesitate in the face of even a loosely perceived threat in 2005. atlanta will look real good given the alternative.
