Another Big Week!
This Week: Hurricane Season Gets Underway
Kick off the 2005 season on Radio NHCWX as Hurricane Season gets underway. Here is a lineup of what is coming up this week.
Tuesday, May 31st: 8:00PM - TalkinTropics Special - Hurricane Season 2005
Dr. Jeffery Masters from the WeatherUnderground will join us on the program (LIVE) to discuss his historic close-call while flying a recon mission into Hurricane Hugo. We will also speak about the 2005 hurricane season as well...including the impacts of elevated Atlantic sea surface temps and we will review the newest Hurricane Outlook from Dr William Gray and Philip Klotzbach from Colorado State University. We will also announce a HUGE addition to the network...a new host on a new night.
Tuesday, May 31st: 10:30PM - Severe Weather Central
Mark Robinson. Called "Canada's Most Active Stormchaser. Has survival stories from chasing in the plains and even in Canada! Live Interview
Wednesday, June 1st: 8:00PM-11:00PM EDT - Radio NHCWX 2005 Hurricane Season Special
We will have live and recorded interviews from the following guests. None of these interviews have ever been aired and are brand new:
Mike Watkins' interview with the Director of the National Hurricane Center, Max Mayfield
Former Dade County Emergency Manager Michelle Baker (as she discusses her response before and during Hurricane Andrew)
Brand new never-before heard extended interview with Dr. Jack Beven, Hurricane Specialist at the NHC
Business Continuity and preparedness Expert Tom Serio will be calling in LIVE to discuss the 2005 Season and what you can do to prepare.

We will have a special surprise guest and we will cover more hurricane preparedness. Also we will go over Dr. Gray's updated forecast numbers.
