Island Hopping
My brother and sister in law are going to be on a catamaran for the next two weeks island hopping near St. Thomas. Can anyone give me a link to the local weather in that area? I've googled until my hands are numb and can't find anything. Remember in Jaws where the man says "we need a bigger boat". Well as far as I'm concerned the boat is for ten people and that's too small to be in the ocean.

For years this has been the best weather source for the leewards, particularly for boaters.

The late David Jones aka The Caribbean Weatherman who ran this site and weather office also wrote an excellent book called The Concise Guide to Caribbean Weather - ISBN-0-9652476-1-9. He was also the only one I know of to accurately forecast late season Lenny's track in 1999.
