Yeah, he's still around. I, like many others, didn't re-up this year for his pay site out of protest against Accuweather's involvement with Senator Rick Santorum and S. 768. You can always pay the $24.95/month to read the columns and listen to the videos, but I ain't doing it.
FWIW, a friend on another site mentioned to me that he likes the GFDL & NHC track but at least 12 hours slower than whatever xxZ GFDL model he was using at the time. Apparently he had the pattern progged from the beginning of May that there would be a final trof split to bust the early heatwave and something tropical would pop in the eastern Gulf. I can't verify the accuracy of what he said because I don't have the access.
