If possible, would like us all to take a moment and say thank you. Thank you to the men and women who have devoted MASSIVE amounts of their free time to providing us a variety of services without directly requesting anything in return but an occasional donation.
I am not sure if everyone is aware of all the vast amount of resources that are available and continue to be added to storm2k and other sites that work along with them. There are nightly live radio shows, video updates, website work, forum moderation and other services provided by fantastic people who do this on a voluntary basis. They continue to brain storm ways to improve what is already available so that they may serve us better this season and for the ones to come.
They do this because they love weather and helping others to love it as much as they do. Also, because they care about people and want to help them and their families stay safe. It takes as much time if not more to plan out these activities, gather the right programs and technologies (which many times have an expense attached), and learn to use them.
It would indeed be a long list to name everyone involved... but you all know who you are. Storm2k family and the sites it works with continue to grow bigger and better every day because of you! THANK YOU! You are so appreciated!
A time to give thanks...

When a storm threatens your area, it's nice to have this site to get info! Derek O was telling us that Jeanne would hit further S than the predicted landfall and supported it with data. He was right on, the eye went rate over my area. That kind of info was not available on local tv. This is a great resource!!
