Tell me it's not raining in Miami again...

I was just channel surfing and saw the Braves/Marlins in a rain delay on Turner South. Miami is going to float away if this keeps up.

The Miami weather office just said this in their forecast for this evening.

"UPDATE...COVERAGE OF PRECIPITATION HAS DROPPED EARLIER THAN
EXPECTED SO WILL CLEAN UP ZONES TO JUST MENTION CHANCE.

Well, shortly after their change to just a chance, that complex developed as previously mentioned, just off the coast in began to move in. That has happened to their forecast a few times this month, guess they must be done with all this rain and trying to get it out of here.

I don't remember ever having this much rain for such a long period of time. There are a few houses in my neighborhood that the owners are trying to get their roof work done ASAP because of the cane season and they are really stressed out with this never ending rain.

The heck of it is that they aren't really close to the record, despite being eight inches above average for month to date.

The record is 25.34 inches set in 1930. As of this afternoon, Miami was at 16.42 ".

One wonders what the devil caused that much rain; wasn't a hurricane...

Yeah, the field was soaked and the pitcher couldn't even throw the ball anymore so they had to delay the game. It's storming too much down here, can't even go to a baseball game.
