This is not going to hit the panhandle but it might affect our forecast if it hits LA or MS, but even that is looking pretty unlikely.Just keep an eye on it,still have plenty of time before landfall so you never know.

It's not even in the GOM yet and we don't even know where the center form (if it does at all)so I would think that making a statment like that is a little premature. You can't rule out any area right now.
