what track will this system take?

I say it will continue on a WNW track and hit southern Texas,maybe even Mexico.I don't see this affecting the northern Gulf coast(LA to FL panhandle).

I hate to whimp out on this ?, but it really all depends on where the LLC forms. The further north, then the more east. I have made a pre-LLC prediction of 60nm either side of TX/LA state line. I'll make a final one if we get a LLC.

as of right now it could go anywhere on the gulf coast but not the Florida peninsula, probably have a much better idea tomorrow if the plane goes in

I don't know looks like a lot of variables heading into the gulf right now. But I think I will rule out Florida. Kind of like the Texas coast for this one. If it becomes one. At least once again there is something to talk about.... :D

It really needs to fire itself up if it's going to get going before the YT. Convection looks to be dying down again. Maybe we'll get another flare up before sunrise?

Probably Wednesday/Thursday.

This is not going to hit the panhandle but it might affect our forecast if it hits LA or MS, but even that is looking pretty unlikely.Just keep an eye on it,still have plenty of time before landfall so you never know.

It's not even in the GOM yet and we don't even know where the center form (if it does at all)so I would think that making a statment like that is a little premature. You can't rule out any area right now.

Somewhere on the upper Texas coast, hopefully southwest of Houston so we are on the wet side.

Between Freeport and Matagorda recurving to the north and northeast.
