thats a heck of a right turn right at landfall. I know people are downplaying the strength of this sytem but even a weak to mod. TS could cause major problems with that Landfall path. Just my 2 cents.

The FSU MM5 from this morning showed the system stalling as it reached the SW LA coast.

What may be happeneing is the trof moving east across the lower MS
valley will leave TD3 behind, and we end up with weak steering currents.
This would be a potential huge rainmaker.
