Hey Brent how's Cindy treating you.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Dry so far. I'm on the Eastern side of the state near the GA line. Just a cloudy day with very little wind so far.

Later... center should pass just north of here.

I am between Montgomery, AL and LaGrange, GA. The rain shield should be here this afternoon.

DH,

Looking through the storm reports it looks as if you had two tornado touchdowns yesterday??? Any confirmation? Anyway, here on the eastern side of Cindy, the dry air battle has begun. She is wrapping some into the core and it looks as if alot of the convective banding features have died out. Due north of the center, some very heavy precipitation is still occuring across Greene/Hale/Sumter Counties where Flash Flood Warnings remain in effect. Only 2-3 Counties to my west.....why can't she MOVE!?!?

Hey Brent...we were coming home from our vacation in Texas last night. We drove I-85 through Montgomery/LaGrange last night...we waved as we went through (Atlanta welcomed us with massive rainstorms from Newnan all the way home). That was after we drove through the early rain bands from Cindy in Louisiana earlier. Fun 15 hours on the road--not.

We're looking for rain from Cindy in the Atlanta area starting this afternoon (according to what I've heard/read so far).

**** is starting to hit the fan here. Numerous tornado warnings in adjacent counties... at least 2 reported tornadoes and a mean squall is just about to hit here. Don't know if I'll be able to post! NWS is extremely concerned...
