Question about water temps in Cindy's wake

#1 Postby LAwxrgal » Thu Jul 07, 2005 11:42 am

Wouldn't the water temps in Cindy's wake affect Dennis if he were to pass in the same general area? If so, wouldn't that tend to weaken him a little bit before landfall?

I'll tell you what the local met said to his assistant when she made your comment about Cindy. He told her that this is the Gulf and not the Atlantic. It doesn't take long for the water to heat back up and their was time for that before Dennis approached.
